PhD and Masters by Research applicants
In Oxford, the PhD qualification is known as ‘DPhil’. There is also the option of a 2-year Masters by Research. An offer to study for a DPhil or MRes at Oxford does not automatically come with funding. Current CERO students are funded through ILESLA, by competitive scholarships and, for overseas students, scholarships funded by their home countries. Applications are due in January for admission in October. If you’re interested in studying for a DPhil or MRes within the group, please contact Owen, Chris or Ailsa following the Department of Biology's guidance.
Postdoctoral Fellowships
If you wish to apply for an externally-funded research fellowship (e.g. Marie Sklodowska-Curie, Schimdt AI, Junior Research Fellowships) on topics related to research within the group we may be able to support and assist with your application – please see the Department of Biology Fellowships page for more details and guidance.
